Tesla Coils are complex, nasty, mean, sneaky, and if given a chance, they
WILL bite you.
Besides being all the above, they get expensive, costly, more habit forming
than nicotine,
and did I mention expensive? On the serious side ...
yes they are dangerous, the Voltages
used by and supplied by the transformers can hurt you, KILL you, and generally
ruin the rest
of your life. So... if you decide to make, build, buy, touch,
or do something with a Tesla Coil
that hurts, maims, destroys, or incapacitates you momentarily or perminently,
I'm not at fault.
Tesla Coils are actually awe inspiring
with the streamers snapping through the air like etheral whips, ripping
electrons off of the atoms and creating that wonderous glow....
the sound is incredible, the sights even more so. Maybe thats why I like
them so much.
