When I make a special order for someone, I will make a couple extra when I think it is something that someone else might need.  Here on this page you will find totally unique, special order items. 

An extra heavy pedestal mount.  It is two inches in diameter and almost two inches tall.  Solid brass with two inch washers and insulators.

    This is a bracket for the pick-up truck so you can mount the antenna on the bed behind the cab.  It was made for a Dodge truck with a cover on the bed.   The bracket was designed to fit across a bed wall that was 2-1/2 inches wide across the top with only 1-1/4 inch access between the cab and bed but this will fit with only 3/4 inch access.  The bracket is 2 inches wide and made from 3/8 inch thick aluminum alloy (6061) with a 5/8 inch hole for the mount.

     I have included more adjustment for smaller sizes on the extra brackets that I made.  All aluminum alloy and as usual, stronger than it needs to be.  The push plate that you see is to give it a better grip on the truck bed and to keep the bolts from marking the truck.

     As you can see from the diagrams below, the bottom clamp locks onto the sheet metal  lip and it is clamped across the top.  This bracket will work on bed walls as thin as 1 inch across the top with a lip as short as 3/4 of an inch. The bottom clamp is in slots and adjusts up so the two bolts are against the metal lip when you tighten the clamp. Plus a place to hook a grounding strap if needed.

The dodge truck bed looked like this in cross section and was 2-1/2 inches wide at the top with the inside lip being 1 inch long. 

My 1978 ford explorer truck bed looks like this in cross section and is only 1-1/2 inches wide and the inside lip 1 inch long.   The bracket will fit anything with one of these shapes in most any size.
