Hi Jerry, Everything is working excellent! I'm using a High Sierra Sidekick motorized antenna. Everyone who has seen the mount loves it!! I only wish I had mounted it this way from the beginning. Thanks for your great quality workmanship. I'm attaching two pictures so you can see what it looks like. Phil WX1CT Phil is referring to the backing plates you see below. This actually is one of my early models and not only is the ball mount NOT pinned, he is using one of my co-axial cable connectors to hold it in place. Now that is how tight you can lock something down with my connector and it will still work fine. Will not stretch and come loose later. |

Now this is what you call creative mounting. The bicycle rack is strapped to the truck lid. He added the aluminum angle iron to the rack to hold the ball mount and left enough slack in the wire so he could still open the trunk. Pretty slick…... |
