Heavy Duty Side Stake Pocket Bracket

This model of the side stake pocket bracket does not fit under a camper top.  The top plate is 3/8 of an inch thick for the really serious antenna.  Made from the same 6061 aluminum alloy and stainless steel bolts.  The hole for the mount is 5/8 inch in diameter. And again, one size fits most all trucks with about two minutes of your time to install.

A special order stake pocket bracket that is 3 inches wide, 3/8 inch thick and has a 3/8-24 threaded hole for the antenna.  It also included a large diameter (1-1/2'') brass nut that locked in place to screw onto the antenna stud that extended thru the plate.  The guy who bought this said his antenna was that big on the base.  I can custom design and modify my brackets to anything you want for just a small increase in the price.  This one is priced at only $ 65.00   If you have a design of your own in mind,  just email or call and we can talk and settle on a price before I build.

DANGER !  SMALL PROBLEM   DANGER !

Their are a some models of trucks out there that have stake pockets without side walls in them.  It is just open space with a short pocket in the bottom to catch the end of the stake.   If yours looks like the picture below,  then my bracket will not work.  With nothing to push against for the whole length of the wedges, it will not lock in.

This is the Toyota Tundra truck pocket you see here.   Mine will not work.

This bracket has a top plate that is 3/8 inch thick and 2-1/4 inches wide.  I noticed on Eham that someone had a problem with the top plate not being long enough to keep the co-axial cable connector from rubbing the side of the truck.  His review is the next to the last one on the page  HERE    I have increased the length of the top plate by 1/2 inch which should take care of that problem.
