Pick Up Truck Stake Pocket Bracket |
|
This is a stake pocket mounting bracket for pickup trucks. One size fits most all trucks so when the truck blows up,,,, you can use this bracket on the next one whatever it is. (with one exception, see below) The top plate is only 1/4 inch thick so that you can use this bracket with a camper top or, as some people have used it, to go under the large Tool box on back. Easy installation which uses only one allen wrench and about two minutes of your time. This thing wedges in and locks tight. Good for rough conditions and strong enough to carry most antennas. Aluminum alloy construction and stainless steel screws. Comes with a 5/8 inch hole for mount. |

DANGER ! SMALL PROBLEM DANGER ! Their are a few models of trucks out there that have stake pockets without side walls in them. It is just open space with a short pocket in the bottom to catch the end of the stake. If yours looks like the picture below, then my bracket with the wedges will not work. With nothing to push against for the whole length of the wedges, it will not lock in. This is the Toyota Tundra truck pocket you see here. It will not work for the wedge locking pocket bracket. But the EZN pocket bracket will. |
