Mangore Duo: Classical Guitar Duet

The Mangore Duo was formed by Michael Boyd and Steven Kennedy in the Fall of 2003 during their graduate work at the University of Southern Mississippi, as a side project with Centaur Records Recording Artists, The Mississippi Guitar Quartet.

Since their debut, the Duet has grown in popularity and diversity. The Mangore Duo is dedicated to performing compositions written for guitar duet as well as new transcriptions of well known works by master composers.

The Mangoe Duo has been a traditional, integral, and exciting part of Mississippi Guitar Quartet concerts throughout the southeast region, and with the forthcoming debut CD release, the Duo will be performing more concerts featuring their popular repertoire.

Please keep checking back for updates in the near future on Mangore Duo concerts and where to purchase their CD.
