Prayer at I-10 Bridge Now I lay me down, to finally take a nap, I won't to thank you lord, for this old worn-out cap. It's so soft Lord, against the gritty curb, I'll never forget you lord, I'm giving you my word, Thank you for this bridge lord, just above the water, a mecca in the storm Lord, all surrounded by disorder, No high ground anywhere, and you made it in the air, Somehow in your wisdom Lord, You knew exactly where, don't think me ungrateful, I thank you for my life, but I'm scared for my babies, Lord, and I worry for my wife, just grant me one more thing, and I'll never ask again, send someone to help us lord, and ease us from our pain, If its wrong to ask for more, thanks for being there, and thanks for today lord, the skies were blue and fair, and lord please forgive me, for everything I've done, and though I don't deserve him, thank you for the son.
