My sins have suddenly lost their appeal,
and the goodness in my life isn't enough
to rise up and overwhelm the formless
tyrant that guards the abyss toward which I float.
Without anchor, or rudder or direction
I drift on a sea that is not a sea,
through space that has neither the
substance of vapor, nor tears, nor
dampening mist. It is a voyage
through nothing, toward something.
And it is the horror of the unknown
that is reached by a timed journey,
through neither the dark of night or
light of day, that can bring a man
to his knees and leave him screaming
silently into the void..."WHY ME???"
