Your memory comes to haunt me in the springtime.
You always loved the April showers so.
When I hear them falling gently on my window.
I wish I'd never had to let you go.

Then, summer comes along and I get misty.
I can't help but wish that I could call back time.
To the happy days when we were all together.
And losing you was the last thing on my mind.

I think that I can make it through the winter.
It never was your favorite time of year.
I'll miss the card you always sent on Christmas,
When it doesn't come, I know I'll shed a tear.

But tell me how to make it through October?
When the tenth rolls around what will I do?
"What's that Daddy? Well, all right Daddy."
"Happy birthday to me, Happy birthday to you...
Happy birthday to us Daddy!"
