I'd like to have seen my mother's face when my daddy got to heaven.
I wish I could have seen her smile when she heard him call her name.
I know they talked about us kids and she showed him all the flowers.
I can almost hear my mother say, "Honey, I'm so glad you came."
Maybe God lets Mom and Daddy live near lots of little children,
So they can give them candy and presents every day.
And I sure hope there are birds and squirrels, and little baby kittens.
That's all my Mom and Dad will need to pass eternity away.
