I've gleaned the trash cans of iniquity in my time,
and the bitter dregs of life dripped off my fingers,
and landed on all of my tomorrows
where the stain still lingers.

I have mingled with the cohorts of Satan,
and been clasped to the bosom of a Saintly few.
I've followed the beat of a private drummer,
always knowing the piper would claim his due

Having grasped the golden ring of life with all my might,
I savored every tempting morsel, relished every bite!
Now I must confess to the epitome of greed,
an eternity is all the time I'll ever need!
