From mid-1975 through the end of 1979 Mark served in the U.S.
Navy stationed at NAS Whidbey Island flying as a Flight Officer in
the Grumman A6E Intruder. During this period Mark had two full
at-sea periods with Medium Attack Squadron Fifty-Two(VA-52) on the
carrier U.S.S. Kittyhawk.
