Polywog

Avery just celebrated her third birthday exactly as she has planned for months. Balloons, a party, brownies with ice cream and a pink bicycle. We still can't say enough about that skuut balance bike. Avery was riding with no training wheels within about 20 minutes. She still needs a little help with starts and stops, but in her words...."Don't Hover!"

Meanwhile, Greg's been surfing and biking. Dylan and Avery are both learning to swim. We're all having fun being together.

I think its a good thing Dylan is starting school in the fall. Learning to read might distract him from the incessent questioning that regularly has me on the internet. After another lengthy conversation about reproduction (about which Dylan has endless interest), Dylan was unsatisfied. That story is all well and good but really doesn't explain how the VERY FIRST person was born. After all where did the sperm and egg come from?
Oh...and if anyone knows exactly what the smallest animal is we'd like to know. Dylan is pretty sure its single cellular, but Greg tells us that animals are multicellular by definition. Any thoughts???
