Building Partnerships is Team Building: How to Build a Team Dr. Jeff is Director of the New Orleans Department of Human Services, a position he has held since 1974. He is a product of public housing in New Orleans having grown up in the Lafitte Public Housing Development. Dr. Jeff is the founder of the Milne Boys' Home Manhood Development Program, a long-term Rites of Passage Program for urban males, and is author of the chapter "Afrocentrism and African American Males" in Nurturing Young Black Males. |

Dr. Jeff is an expert on the subjects of Welfare Reform, Human Violence, Manhood Development, Fatherhood Initiatives, Transracial Adoptions, Cultural Diversity, Racial Oppression, and others, and is an advocate for building and maintaining strong Black institutions. |

He is a national guest speaker on topics ranging from Life Management versus Case Management to Welfare Reform and has appeared on such nationally televised programs as the NBC Today Show, ABC Night Line, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and the Sally Jesse Raphael Show. |

Or, will we be a football team where everyone moves at he same time to achieve the goal of scoring points? In this workshop, you will learn to analyze the best structure in achieving victory . |

Dr. Denise Davis-Maye, Ph.D., will provide a special introduction for Dr. Jeff. Dr. Davis-Maye is an Assistant Professor on faculty with the Auburn University Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work. In the past 7 years, Dr. Davis-Maye reports that Dr. jeff has served as a mentor and a beascom for justice for her and has been instrumental in formulating some key personal and professional decisions. |
