Golf Cart

We have become truly Peachtree.  We purchased a used 1990 Club Car gas golf cart from a local dealer. The ironic fact that the cart came from 20 miles away from where we used to live in Illinois (Settlers Hill golf course in Geneva) seems strange.

The cart was purchased with a short top and windshield only. I have added headlights, tail lights, and a back seat to meet requirements to seat four people and be able to drive after dark on the Peachtree City cart paths. You may notice the top isn't short anymore. I grafted the front of a second short top to the back to protect rear seat passengers.

After some time and a conciderable amount of critique I replaced my grafted "Long top" with Factory long top IMG_0198.JPG (311875 bytes)

One of the other advantages this top style allows is the Custom Music system I devised for the cart.IMG_0199.JPG (327476 bytes)

Here are some detail pictures of my Home Brew rear seat. A factory rear seat costs around $300.00. I have $150.00 invested in this one (that includes the $28.00 tool to bend the conduit) The largest expense was the foam for the seat cushion.
