Walldorf, Elite Hanoverian Stallion, by Watzmann out of Parodie by Perser XX.   Walldorf is has the highest score on the 100 day test of any Hanoverian Stallion standing in the US today.  He is sire to Gimli's 2001 colt, Fire at Will.

Gimli - 16.3 hand Hanoverian mare by Gastronom out of Greta by Grande.  Gimli is AHS & VhW registered, pink papered, with the German Hanoverian brand. Gimli has and passes on powerhouse dressage movement. In addition, this mare jumps boldly at four feet.  Her sire, Gastronom, was a Grand Prix talent and was noted for flow and rhythmic gaits.

Gimli's dam, Greta, is a well known daughter of the legendary Hanoverian foundation line stallion Grande.   Grande is a famous stallion who stood in Germany for 25 years (1962-1987).   Grande is known for his expressive canter.    He is also noted for his inner values, which resulted in his high performance test scores and the performance success of his offspring that continues to the present day.

Gimli has progeny with Olympic dressage riders as well as a colt successfully eventing, winning all classes on his first time out.  You can see additional photos of Gimli in our On-Line Photo Album at Webshots.

Grande, Gimli's dam's Sire, one of the most famous Hanoverian stallions - Grande had over 33 Approved sons, 34 States Premium Mares, in 1976, 3 Grande offspring competed in the Olympic games: Grande Giso, (Holland), Grande, (USA), and Gute Sitte (BEL).  In 1982, Galapagos by Grenadier was World Champion Dressage German Team under G. Grillo.  Golfstrom (by Grenadier) was 1990 World Dressage Team Champion. (GER).   The showjumper Gralsritter by Grande had progeny winnings exceeding DM 1,200,0000 in showjumping and retired to stud in 1990 as the top stallion in international showjumping.   The Grande son Graphit, (deceased) had progeny earnings to 1994 of DM 1,151,777.  The Graphit son Grundstein was leading German sire of his age in 1988, (exported USA, 1985, deceased), with earnings to 1994 of DM 1,009,335.  The Grande son Graditz sired Gigolo, winner of the 1992 European Dressage Champion.  The Graphit son Grannus, (deceased 1993) was the most successful sire of his age group in Germany in 1992 with progeny winnings over 2,000,000 DM.  The Grannus son, Top Gun won the 1992 Olympic Team Gold in Showjumping (Holland).  Grande son Garabaldi II sired Gifted (C. Lavell), 1992 US Olympic Team Bronze winner in Dressage, (4th ind.).  The Grande grandson Grunox (by Grunewald) won the 1992 German Olympic Team Gold Medal in Dressage.   Graf Grande won the 1992 Olympic Team Silver in Showjumping for Austria.
