We Take Your Scrap Metal and Give Students Hope

Scrap To Music, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit corporation that collects scrap metal through donations from community members, businesses and government agencies. We collect any kind of metal from alluminum cans to airplanes. The scrap metal is processed at our facilities on East Highway 90 in Lake City, Florida and then sold to scrap metal businesses that recycle the material. The money received from the sale of the scrap metal is then used to pucahase band instruments for students that are in need by purcasing new or used instruments directly for the student or by giving the instrument to a public school band program. Scrap To Music, Inc. also assists the Elementary School Music Programs through the purchase of Orff Instruments, Recorders and Music Books.
Scrap To Music, Inc. is registered as a 501c3 non-profit corporation with the United States Govenrnment and with the State of Florida. All contributions of scrap material, money or used instruments is Tax Deductible. Raymond Macatee is the Founder and President of Scrap To Music, Inc. Through his guidance and leadership, Scrap To Music, Inc. has donated hundreds of instruments to needy music students. As the school systems in the State of Flroida continue to experience budgetary shortfalls, Scrap To Music has recognized the need of the band programs for assistance in purchasing larger instruments and equipment, such as Tubas, Baritones, Percussion Equipment and much more. The purchase of one Tuba can cost in excess of $4,000.00. Won't you help us make a difference in a students life by donating your scrap metal, you can make a difference. |
