The "party line" on drugs is such a web of lies the subcategories should be "fiction" and "more fiction." That being said, as much as I am in favor of reform of our nation's drug policy, I can't recommend drug experimentation for teens. The teen years are a time of introspection and self-discovery, and drugs including alcohol, marijuana, and numerous legal but extremely dangerous prescription drugs don't help in the process.
Good fiction often reveals a more general or timeless truth than nonfiction. Amazon.com's inclusion of both fiction and nonfiction in this category is just bad indexing.
