Science readily acknowledges that it is not the appropriate tool for studying the totality of human experience. This does not mean that bad theology can be used to promote bad public policy supporting bad science. Rather, religion as a search for ultimate Truth, must either account for scientifically provable fact or be regarded a superstitious nonsense. It is worth noting that the vast majority of Christians have no difficulty resolving the fabricated apparent contradictions between Darwin, for example, and religious faith.
