The Inca lived in the Andes, which was quite an accomplishment in itself, requiring extensive terracing for agriculture and roads and bridges for transportation. They developed a unique mythology centered around their emperor, the Sapa Inca. They had a highly organized society, where art, architecture, and education were highly developed.
