We deplore the current fascination with "gay marriage" legislation on the grounds that it is fundamentally discriminatory, and therefore un-American, and that it is mean-spirited and uncharitable, and therefore un-Christian. Furthermore, to paraphrase "liberal activist judge" Larry Joe Doherty: "Marriage is a contract as far as the state is concerned, and anybody can enter into a contract." If that bothers you, you can buy your Bibles elsewhere.
