What's Happened Recently:
On January 27, 2005 the ACAR staff and Board of Directors prepared and served a gourmet lunch to those staff members of local agencies that refer clients to the ACAR Center. Some familiar faces were seen enjoying the affair. Sheriff Mark Luttrell and former Police Director Walter Crews discussed the needs of addicted offenders in the Mid-South. Judge Tim Dwyer and the Shelby County Drug Court staff joined the celebration and a well earned lunch away from 201 Poplar.
