How did you make those amazingly chic buttons and logos?

I'd like to pretend that I drew them by hand using an actual graphics program, but you and I both know that if I had that kind of artistic talent and patience, the comics would look a lot sleeker. The logo is by Cool Text, and the buttons are courtesy of the Button Maker. Thanks, folks!

Why, PowerPoint, of course! What other program could I possibly use for a comic about an assistant bureaucrat?

Where did you get the inspiration for the one-panel issue style?

I was reading some old Hostess comic book ads and thought it would be perfect for a City of Heroes fan-comic style. Nobody else was doing it, so I decided to!  There's a SeanBaby site that has a ton of Hostess ads scanned in, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with children or a refined sense of tasteful humor.

Is there availability for direct communications to your contact earlier in your missions? It's not until I've worked with that contact up to two-thirds of those missions before I can call in, and it can be a beyatch to keep traveling from one map to another to check back in...?

Unfortunately, no. Each contact is only allotted a certain number of anyone minutes each day, and they can't afford to use them up on just any old yahoo who wanders up and offers to get their cat out of a tree. Only after you've taken care of two-thirds of their To Heroically Do List can they afford to leak their number to you. And be forewarned - if you keep calling them up long after you've exhausted their missions "just to see if anything came up"... they will be forced to change their number.
