We have implemented a couple different methods to provide private, secure access
to our entire personal library of audio sermons by various ministers within the
Apostolic Christian Church of America
(over 1000 and growing),
as well as congregational hymn singings and other non-audio church related documents.
Please note, this collection of sermons is in no way meant to be an official compendium of sermons or doctrines of the Apostolic Christian Church of America. It is just our personal collection.
FTP File Sharing
The easiest method is standard FTP (file transfer protocol).
If you are interested in downloading files using FTP, feel free to
contact us
(you may want to include your desired User ID, which we will create),
and we will set you up with access to our FTP server and then send you further instructions.
However, please be aware that we are still working the kinks out of this access method.
It appears to have problems transferring files larger than about 10MB (about 10 minutes of audio),
which means many of the sermon exhortation files may not transfer properly,
although there is lots of content smaller than this which appears to transfer with no problems.
Qnext File Sharing and Streaming
The second method we use is a software called Qnext.
It provides file sharing capabilities similar to FTP, but also provides audio streaming capabilities.
If you would like to try it out, please download and install the Qnext software by clicking
here
or on the image below.
After installing the software, contact us with your Qnext User ID or User Name so we can grant you access to the sermon files.

Listen Live!
As an alternative separate from our personal sermon library,
if you are interested in hearing an Apostolic Christian sermon live over the Internet, there are two congregations which offer the capability to listen live to the streaming audio of their church sermons:
These are live broadcasts of their sermons, so they will only work during the actual church service times.
However, each of these congregations also offers some recorded audio available for download from their website.

Qnext Installation/Setup Instructions
If you haven't done so already, you can download the Qnext software from http://www.qnext.com/download.shtml and install it.
Once you have Qnext installed, just email us with your User ID (6 digit numeric, automatically assigned), and or your User Name (self assigned). We can then add you to the security group to access the files. You will need to add us as a "Friend" (Userid 180029, Name fritzmb). Once this is all done, in Qnext you will see a number and a plus sign to the right of our name. Click the plus sign to expand and see the list of Qcasts available.
To use Qnext, you need to have high speed Internet access, because this does not really work over a dial-up connection.
You will have access to two different types of Qcasts.
-
A file sharing Qcast: Apostolic Christian Sermons, etc
This Qcast contains audio and printed sermons, singings, and other general content. In this Qcast you can download the files to your computer and then do what you want with them (listen to them on your computer, burn CDs, etc.).
Even with a high speed Internet connection, it appears to be taking about 1 minute to download 1 minute of audio, so an entire sermon can take about an hour. This is probably the sort of thing where you just need to select the files you want, start the download, and then walk away and do something else.
This Qcast also contains a directory called "Shared by Others" that allows you to upload files that you would like to share. (Feel free to upload any sermons or other material you may already have.)

An audio streaming Qcast: Apostolic Christian - Streaming
This Qcast contains the audio sermons and singings for you to listen to while connected to Qnext. From this Qcast you cannot download the files, but since they are streamed you do not have the long wait to download them before you can listen to them.
We try to keep Qnext running on our computer at all times, but occasionally we have to close it down for one reason or another, in which case Qnext will not show us as being on-line and you will not be able to access our Qcasts. If you don’t see us on-line, just try later and hopefully we will be back, or send us an email to let us know your are trying to connect.
