ATTENTION: When corresponding with me via email remember to include all text from previous emails so I can review before shipment and make sure the order is correct! If you are interested in purchasing fish, then send me an email to luvmybetta@bellsouth.net. Include the title, description and price of the fish you would like to purchase and how you would like to pay including which method of shipment you prefer (depending on availability at the time). I accept Money Order (Postal M.O. ONLY), Paypal, Western Union* & MoneyGram*. I will then email you back within 24 hours (usually) with your total and payment instructions. *Western Union & MoneyGram payments will need to add an additional $5 to the total due as well as the customer is responsible for the fees to send.
Please do be courteous enough to email me once your Betta/s arrive and let me know if they are in good shape. I will worry until I hear from you. So take a moment and send me an email and then you can get back to enjoying your new Betta! I ship USPS Express, FedEx overnight and USPS Priority. I will only ship on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday for Express or FedEx shipments. I will only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays for Priority shipments to insure that the fish will not be left at the post office over the weekend due to unexpected delays or postal errors.

Due to the fact we are dealing with Live Animals and a stressful situation (shipping) for the animals. I can not Guarantee Live Arrival to destinations where the temperatures are 32 degrees and below. I would advise that you request packages to be held at the P.O. for pick-up instead of riding in the delivery vehicle. Please check your weather forecast at www.weather.com .
DOA POLICY
In case of DOA: Do NOT open the bag! Email me immediately (within 30 minutes). I am sorry, but I have to stand firm on this because there are many dishonest people who fail to acclimate the fish properly, or are otherwise responsible for the death of the fish, and then claim the fish was DOA and demand refund/replacement. Take a clear photograph of the fish in the original, unopened shipping bag. I will gladly refund its purchase price or replace it if I have similar stock available. Reshipping of items will cost additional, in the case of replacement fish. Shipping will not be refunded in DOA cases. As with any livestock, you should always choose the quickest form of shipping method you can afford in order to receive your animal(s) or livestock in the best condition possible. I will offer Live Guarantee to all fish shipped USPS Express (Next Day delivery). I cannot offer the same guarantee to fish shipped via USPS Priority shipping or Express that is 2 Day delivery. Priority may be fine for local customers (we're in Georgia) or neighboring states, but not for someone of considerable distance. You, the customer, have the ultimate choice though. We have nothing to gain by suggesting a more expensive shipping method. We simply want all of our customers to receive their fish in the fastest possible time and in the best condition!
Other things that can happen during shipment to be aware of. Mr. Betta can get stressed out and decide to chomp on his own tail. Yes it sounds awful, but I’ve had bettas arrive before minus their once glorious finnage because of this. If this happens please add some Melafix to his water and watch to see that he does not get fin rot from the damage.
Another thing that can happen is shipping injury, usually to an eye. I am listing this because I have also recently had this happen to a fish also. I opened the box and arghhhh, I was looking at Quasimodo. I thought the breeder had shipped me a fish with Popeye & almost started him on antibiotics but I was smart enough to contact the breeder (who was a little offended by the Popeye accusation) but informed me of the possibility of shipping injury. Again, Melafix and time and the swelling went down in a few days and the eye was back to normal.
Please be sure to include the address you wish for your fish to be shipped to IN your Paypal payment. Do not send me multiple emails with an address in the email somewhere, I do NOT save all emails (too many). If you have special instructions (signature waiver, Hold at PO, etc) please state this in the "Note" section of your payment as well.
