<B>Pulpit Ministries</B><BR>
We believe that the preaching of the Word of God is first and foremost in
the life of the church. <I>"For after that in the wisdom of God the
world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching
to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks
seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified..." </I>1 Cor. 1:21-23a.
It is our pastor's desire to follow the leadership of the Spirit of
God in all the messages, to make them evangelistic to the lost, encouraging
and challenging to all, as well as comforting to the hurting.
<P ALIGN=Justify>
<B>Sunday School</B><BR>
We meet regularly for Bible Study at 9:15 AM. Aged graded classes are
provided for everyone. There is a place for you in Bible Study. Classes
are organized to reach the lost for Bible Study and learn the Bible.
<P ALIGN=Justify>
An aspect of our Sunday School ministry is a Van Ministry. We run two
routes on Sunday mornings in an effort to reach the lost for Bible Study.
<P ALIGN=Justify>
<B>Discipleship Training</B><BR>
Each Sunday at 5:00 PM we meet for Discipleship Training. There are
several reasons for being involved in Discipleship training. They are
as follows:
<P ALIGN=Justify>
(1) Equip church members for discipleship and personal ministry.
<P ALIGN=Justify>
(2) Teach Christian doctrine, Christian theology, Christian ethics,
Christian history and church policy and organization.
<P ALIGN=Justify>
(3) Equip leaders for service.

<BIG><BIG><BIG><B>Additional Ministries</B></BIG></BIG></BIG>

<B>Senior Citizens</B><BR>
We have a senior organization known as JOY (Just Older Youth) here at
<B>Huntsville Park Baptist Church</B>. Their activities include crafts,
outings, etc. For more information on the group, please contact the
church office at 534-7861.
<P ALIGN=Justify>
<B>Youth Ministries</B><BR>
Youth at <B>Huntsville Park</B> are defined as being 7th through 12th graders.
We try our best to minister to these teenagers during this important
time of their lives. Bible Study is an important part of our Youth
Ministry, meeting on Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday evening
at the same time as the adults. Youth activities are planned monthly.
Our summer activities usually involve a Backyard Bible Club and a Youth
Summer Camp.

<B>Preschool and Children's Ministries</B><BR>
Sunday School and Discipleship Training classes are provided for all age
groups of children. We have a very fine faculty of preschool and children's
teachers that give their all to make the children's Bible Study times a pleasant
experience. There is also a Bible Study time for the children on Wednesday
evenings at 6:30 PM.

<B>Nursery and Extended Session</B><BR>
Nursery and extended sessions are provided during the worship services.
You may volunteer to minister in these areas by contacting the church
office at 534-7861.
<P ALIGN=Justify>
<B>Music Ministry</B><BR>
Every member is encouraged and invited to join the adult choir. The
adult choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM to practice for Sunday
services. The children's choirs practice on Sunday evenings at 4:00PM.
<P ALIGN=Justify>
<B>Tape Ministry</B><BR>
We offer each sermon on a cassette tape upon request, at a minimum charge
of $2.00.
<P ALIGN=Justify>
<B>Care Night</B><BR>
Anyone who wishes may gather at the church at 6:30 PM every Monday night
to write cards and letters, get together and pray, or pair up for visitation.
