ATTENTION BOAT OWNERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY!

Do you hate the automated parking meters at the boat ramps? Did you like the old system where a human collected your user fee better?

DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!! MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!!!

The machines at Black Point and Crandon are part of a pilot program to REPLACE HUMAN JOBS WITH MACHINES! Once in place, all County ramps will have only machines. If the machine does not work, you either go home, get a parking ticket, or put another $10 in another machine. DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN!

SEND ANGRY EMAIL TO parks@miamidade.gov

Or call 305-755-7800 (Parks Department main office)

Tell the park managers how you feel!

Crandon Park: 305-361-1281

Black Park Marina: 305-258-4092

Email Mayor Carlos Alvarez! mayor@miamidade.gov

Phone: 305-375-5071

Fax: 305-375-3618

If you do not complain, nothing will change! If there is to be any chance of getting rid of the machines, you must speak up! Send the email. Call the park managers. Let the mayor know that boat owners who vote are not happy!

It only takes a few minutes to speak up. How long have you wasted waiting for this machine to print out your ticket? How long did you waste standing in line to use the machine? If you remain silent, there is no chance of bringing back the old system. It is up to you to use your voice and demand change!!

Feel free to take this flier and make copies.
