What Does The Bible Say
About Gays?

Probably
the most popular verses that directly relate to this issue are found in
Leviticus:
Thou
shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it [is] abomination. (Lev
18:22)
If a
man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have
committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall
be] upon them. (Lev 20:13)
These
verses are all conclusive that the gay life style is a sin, and not just a sin,
but one worthy of death. Many people who are either actively gay, or secretly
wish that they were, will say “But that is the Old Testament” or I have even
heard the lesbian defense “It doesn’t say anything about Women, just men” Well;
I am going to refute these issues, as I expose to you a very discomfiting
biblical truth.
In
refutation to the defenses “But that is the Old Testament” and “It doesn’t say
anything about Women, just men.” Let me first say, If God ever said it, then it
is still true. Look in The New Testament, the book of Romans, Chapter one:
For
this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did
change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the
men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward
another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in
themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
(Romans
1:26-27)
We see
here first of all a direct reference to women changing the natural use into
that which is against nature. What is the woman’s natural use? Why was the
woman created? What was God’s purpose for woman?
And
the LORD God said, [It is] not good that the man should be alone; I will
make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every
beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought [them] unto
Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living
creature, that [was] the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all
cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for
Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep
sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed
up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from
man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This [is]
now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because
she was taken out of Man.
(Genesis
2:18-23)
For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
(1
Corinthians 11:8-9)
Unto
the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in
sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to thy
husband, and he shall rule over thee.
(Genesis
3:16)
In these verses it is clear that the woman’s natural use is to be a help meet for the man. This was her purpose in creation; God created woman to be a helping partner for man. It is unnatural for a man to be with a man, or a woman to be with a woman. If God accepted same sex unions, then He would never have had need to create woman. Woman’s biblical position is defined not only as being created for the man, but also to be a child-bearer, who desires their husband and submits to his authority, as he has the rule over her. Therefore, a woman with women is unnatural.
Another
way we can see that Romans 1:26-27 is referring to both men and women is to
look at the terminology used in the verse: “for even their women did change
the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the
men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward
another; men with men working that which is unseemly”. “And likewise
also” means “in the same way.” Finally, this passage ends with “receiving in
themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” What is that
recompense of their error which was meet? Read again the end of Leviticus
20:13: “both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put
to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.” Need I say more?
Sodomy,
queerdom, lesbianism, bisexuality (I chose not to use the term “homosexuality”,
because it is a term used to describe people who are born to mate with people
of the same sex, since that is not possible, that term is misleading) or any
other name you may want to tag on this sin to ease your own conscience, is a
sin worthy of death. It is an abomination. An abomination is something that God
considers detestable, worthy of a fiery eternity.
But
the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and
whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their
part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second
death.
(Revelation
21:8)
Know
ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not
deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate,
nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor
drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Corinthians 6:9-10)
Let it
be known to you now, if you are involved in a gay relationship, you are headed
for that second death, that lake of fire and brimstone. You are not able to
enter into the kingdom of God! You cannot be saved and be gay. The Bible
stands, you are worthy of death. There is hope however, as long as you are
still breathing. You are not guaranteed your next breath, so make this one
count. You must be willing to repent, to change the way you think. You must be
willing to turn from that wicked sin, or suffer that eternal fire and brimstone
