I need help to find out whether Thomas H SHERRILL is buried at
Bethany Cem on Riley Creek Rd. His parents, Andrew Paul
SHERRILL and Delphia Jewel ENSEY are suppose to be there. I can only
find the road on a map but not the cemetery. Thomas is my
granmother's grandfather and she desperately wants to find his grave.

Am looking for any relatives of Myrtle Redfern, born in 1909, my
grandmother. Her parents were John William and Lucy Evelyn Redfern.
I believe siblings were Mary Frances, William Alonzo, and possibly a
Charles. Any info helpful. I do know she married Robert Sherwood
Scott in Tullahoma in 1924.

Looking for Terry B. DOTEN and a Edgar DOTEN - Terry was married
in Coffee County in March of 1965. He had a brother named EDGAR.
Terry married my mother Anna Marie VALENTI. I am searching for him
because he is my birth father. Terry was born 02/04/1936. Residence
at that time was 117 or 17 Coffee Street Manchester Tn. He was born
in Michigan. His fathers name was Walter E. DOTEN and his mother was
Myrtle MEDLEY. Please help!

Seeking lineage for Johnson Harris GARRETT, born ca 1806 in Coffee
Co. area. Father of George William
GARRETT, 2-24-1828, who was father of Frances Caroline GARRETT
2-3-1857. George had at least two daughters, but I suspect there
were more children than those two. I am unable to go back from
Johnson, though I believe he was connected to other Garretts in the
area, given his middle name. He was one of the magistrates appointed
by the Govenor for the area, and helped in the founding of the city
of Manchester. Thanks for any help in this area.

Jesse MUNCY was listed on the 1830 census of Warren Co., TN and his
widow Mary on the 1840 census of Warren Co., TN. They lived on a
somewhere the district line of Warren and Coffee. This last name can
sometimes be seen as Nunly. Seeking info on what happened to him
between 1830-40. Any info appreciated.

In 1920 Coffee Co., district 6, Andrew R. ENGLAND is listed along
with a son Frank ENGLAND who appears to be too old to be the child of
the Mary listed as mother. On October 25, 1904 in Grundy Co., an A.
R. England married my grandfather's sister, Minnie LAYNE. Could
these be the same person, and maybe Minnie had a son?

Coffee Co. from about 1850 till the fall of 1870. From Coffee
Co. they were in Carroll Co., AR for about a year, then were in
Collin Co., TX from about 1872 till 1907.

William and Martha ADAMS are my GGGrandparents. They appear on the
1850 census for Coffee County, TN. I am trying to locate
anyone that may have info on them, or that might also be
related. The 1850 census reveals that they had the following children
Mary 15, Josiah 12, William 11, Martin 7, Nancy 5, Rhody 2 this is my
GreatGrandMother. Her name was actually Rhoda C. Adams. I have a copy
of her Marriage License dated 4 Feb. 1877. She married Effa Thomas in
Hamilton Co., Illinois. There were several Adams living in Coffee
Co. at that time, and there still may be some living there. Effa
and Rhoda migrated to Dunklin Co., Missouri, where both are buried.

Searching for descendants of BENJAMIN CASTEEL(b.1843 d.1913)son of Abraham and Mahala Burdett Casteel, m. Jane Montgomery on 8-9-1865.

Unable to find the parents/appropriate TEAGUE family of my
gggrandfather, Adam Reeves TEAGUE born TN 1822 (m. Mary SHOPTAUGH
1847 IL) - and where/if my TEAGUE line connects to the REEVES family
(or if they just liked the name). See 1850 Cannon Census. My ggrandfather was also named Adam
Reeves TEAGUE so there must have been a reason. No other Adam or
Reeves any generation.

Looking for info on John E. Simmons. I would like to learn who his parents

tribe. (b.1839 d.1895) Buried in Gilley Hill, (Cannon Co.) TN Married
Lucinda Lewis on 10/31/1864. Has family from Ireland and he was part American
Indian, dark eyes and black hair. Union soldier in the Civil War

Searching for the burial place of Campbell Uriah Sherrill.

I'm looking for my aunt. My grandfather ( Samuel Warner Troxler) had
a relationship with a Doroty Thomas and plan to marry but she died of
cancer. They had a child Name Patsy. Family knew nothing of her until
his passing and met her. My grandfather latter married my grandmother

Looking for a woman by the surname of RHOTEN. her name is either
Melinda or Belinda i believe. she is buried in camp forest (wagner
park) between tullahoma and manchester, tn. she has a single grave.
it is not in a graveyard. it is near a graveyard that has civil war
soldiers buried. I do not know dates for when she died. appears to be
a long time ago. used to have a wroughtiron fence around it, it was torn down.

Trying to find a marriage record for James H Claunts could be
spelled differently and Elender McBee. They were in Hillsboro
TN in 1853 as a daughter was born. I am quite sure they got
married around 1850. These people are my GGgrandparents. I have
looked in several census records for 1850 and cannot find them.
Maybe someone has some tax records that might help? James H Claunts
botn in 1831 had a brother William Nelson Claunts born in 1834. They
came from N.C. with their mother Mary Claunts. Their
daughter Mary Elizabeth Claunts was born in Hillsboro in 1853. Any
info that could be obtained would be greatly appreciated.

Searching for info on Sarah Bedford BARTON. She married
David HICKERSON. After his death, she married a man with the last
name of DUKE. She had children by both husbands and died fairly
young. She lived in Coffee County TN. I am also interested in

Looking for ancestor, John Conkey GILMORE, thought to be in the
Pocahontas area, in or about 1790-98. First wife was Mary GODFREY, second
wife was Mary ISAACS. Family lore says he killed a man in a fight and
had to flee to Kentucky about 1798. Any help would be appreciated as
we have run into a brick wall with this man.

Robert C. WALKER married Sarah WOOD KING in 1857? [in 1860 Coffee Cens] She was a widow
whose first husband was killed in the Mexican American War. She had
two sons, Robert and Isaiah King. I think that Robert's first wife
was Sarah's older sister, Rachel Wood. Can anyone tell me who Sarah

Looking for info regarding my grandfather James E. Scott
(the first). He was born in Coffee Co on Aug 12, 1905. He might have been
born at home, so we are not sure of this date. He died
on Feb 27, 1969. He came to South Bend/Mishawaka Indiana Area
ca. 1929. He married my grandmother Alice Marie Ellsworth in 1949 in
Covington, TN. We are unsure of the month/date. He had two sibilings;
a brother and a sister , both died before 1953 (Not sure where they
died), his brother had a son Houston. James E. Scott parents were
Charles and Elizabeth Scott.
