On Wednesday, August 25, Cowpokes Bar at 2240 St. Claude Avenue will be
hosting "Lube Wrestling" to benefit Belle Reve!!! It should be a
riot!!! There is a $3 donation at the door. There will be a 50/50 raffle,
and baskets of donated items from sponsors will be auctioned off or raffled
off. All proceeds from the above listed events will go directly to Belle
Reve. Cowpokes has secured several local individuals, such as Phyllis,
Savanna, and others to participate in the “Lube Wrestling” contest. Some of
the volunteers will wrestle in “High Drag” while others, like our “Studly
Go-Go Boys,” will be in go-go attire (BVD, Boxers, G-String). We are considering
tip jars on the floor allowing individuals to vote for their favorite
wrestler with money. The wrestler with the most tips will be the winner
with all tips going to Belle Reve. Cowpokes is committed to doing as much
as they can to make this event a success. So, come on out and have some
good clean fun and help Belle Reve at the same time!!!

NO/AIDS Task Force Walk (Monies
raised will go to both Belle Reve and NO/AIDS Task Force, so PLEASE
PARTICIPATE)
NO/AIDS Task Force Walk will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2004.
Belle Reve will have a team, and we would like to invite you to walk for Belle
Reve. We are asking walkers to get people and businesses to sponsor them to
help raise money for AIDS. Belle Reve will receive 75% of all of the money
we raise. NO/AIDS Task Force will receive 25% of the money we raise. So it
is a win-win for everyone. Please join us in making this the biggest

Harvest Moon Ball: Women’s Dance and Fundraiser
A women’s dance fundraiser will be held at The New Bar on Saturday, October
3, 2004. The theme will be the “Harvest Moon Ball.” The price is a $10
donation at the door. There will be drink specials of $2.00 for well
drinks. The band is “heart and Soul” and there will be finger foods served.
There will be a 50/50 Raffle, and a Raffle of Prizes. You can also take a
picture with “Paris Hilton” and Nicole Ritchie” in front of the barn. So
don’t miss out on a great night of fun. We will also have souvenirs for

This event will be held at the New Orleans Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel in

BELLE REVE AUCTION GALA!!!!!!
The Belle Reve
Auction Gala will be held on Friday,
November 19, 2004, from 8PM to Midnight at The Carrollton, 4710 S. Carrollton Avenue, New Orleans. We believe this will be our BEST
EVER fundraiser. So please join us for a wonderful night of dancing, eating
great food, drinking what you want, and bringing home great items purchased
at excellent prices. There will be a live and a silent auction. Live
entertainment will be provided by the Neighborhood Stars. Tickets are $75
