PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN

PURPOSE
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, we commit ourselves:
to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,
to support the mission of the church worldwide,
to work for justice and peace, and
to build an inclusive, caring community of women
that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)
and witnesses to the promise of God's kingdom.

CIRCLES
RUTH CIRCLE meets at 10:00 a.m. on the first Monday of the month at the church.

LYDIA CIRCLE meets at 12:30 p.m. on the first Monday of the month at members' homes.

EVE CIRCLE meets at 7:00 p.m. on the first Monday of the month in members' homes.

SERVICE CIRCLE meets at various times and places as needed for service projects.

Buckets for Bellewood

Buckets for Bellewood is a way for Presbyterian Women to support young adults
entering the Bellewood Independent Living program. Started by Needle Arts Ministry
with handmade dishcloths, it now involves all the circles. Cleaning items are placed
in utility buckets, along with handmade dishcloths, a note of support and an invitation
to attend worship service. The buckets are given to the young people as housewarming
gifts when they move into their first apartment and begin their journey as adults.
